Shipping Policy

At David Kraemer, we’re all about getting your order to you correctly—and as fast as we can! To make sure you know exactly what to expect with shipping, from how we process your order to what to do if something comes up, here’s our easy-to-follow guide.

1. Where We Ship

Right now, we ship to the entire United States and every Canadian province and territory. Unfortunately, we don’t offer shipping to other countries just yet—but we’re working on expanding!
If you’re in Canada, keep in mind that you might have to pay import duties, taxes, or other customs fees. These are set by Canadian officials, and it’s the person receiving the package who’s responsible for them.

2. How Long It Takes to Process Your Order

Once your payment is checked and approved, we usually get your order ready to ship within 1–3 business days.
A few things to remember:
  • We don’t process, ship, or deliver orders on weekends or public holidays in the U.S. or Canada. Those days don’t count toward processing times!
  • Orders going to Canada might take an extra 1–2 business days. We need to double-check your shipping info and fill out customs papers (like commercial invoices) to make sure your package follows Canadian rules and doesn’t get stuck at the border.

3. When to Expect Your Delivery

Delivery times start counting once your order leaves our partner’s warehouse. Here’s a rough idea of how long it’ll take:
  • United States (Standard Shipping): 5–10 business days
  • Canada: 10–25 business days
Heads Up: All orders come from our overseas partner warehouse. Shipping across borders—especially to Canada—can hit snags like customs checks, busy local post offices, or unexpected delays with the delivery company. So sometimes, your package might take a little longer than we estimate.

4. Who Delivers Your Package

  • U.S. Orders: We use USPS—they’re reliable and cover every corner of the country.
  • Canadian Orders: First, USPS International ships your package to Canada. Then, Canada Post or another local delivery company will take over to get it to your door. It just depends on where you live and what’s in your package.
As soon as your order ships, we’ll send you an email with a tracking number—so you can keep an eye on it!
Quick Tip for Canadian Shoppers: USPS might stop updating the tracking once your package enters Canada. To keep following it, use your tracking number on the Canada Post website or the delivery company’s international tracking page.

5. How to Track Your Order

After your order ships, you’ll get a shipping confirmation email. It has your tracking number and a link to check where your package is right now.
  • U.S. Orders: You can see real-time updates the whole time your package is on its way.
  • Canadian Orders: It might take up to 48 hours for the tracking info to show up. Once the package leaves the U.S., updates might be less frequent. For the latest news, just check Canada Post’s website.

6. What to Do If Your Package Is Late or Missing

Step-by-Step for Delayed or Lost Packages

If you’re in the U.S.:
  1. Ask your family, neighbors, building manager, or local mailroom—sometimes packages get left with them!
  2. Use your tracking number to call USPS directly. They can confirm if it’s delivered or help you file a claim.
  3. If that doesn’t work, reach out to us within 7 days of the date the tracking says “delivered.”
If you’re in Canada:
  1. Give it an extra 5–7 business days past the estimated delivery date. Customs and postal handoffs can take time!
  2. Check with Canada Post—your package might be held because you need to pay duties, taxes, or show some papers.
  3. Ask neighbors or your local post office if they have it.
  4. If it’s still missing, contact us within 14 days of the expected delivery date.
To report a problem, email us at [email protected] with your order number and tracking number. We’ll work with the delivery company to look into it and update you every step of the way.

7. We’ve Got Your Back: Resolutions for Lost or Super Late Orders

Most orders arrive without a hitch, but we know cross-border shipping can have surprises. We’ll consider your order lost or unrecoverable if:
  • You’re in the U.S. and haven’t gotten it 15 business days after it shipped
  • You’re in Canada and haven’t gotten it 30 business days after it shipped
Once we check with the delivery company and confirm it’s lost, you can pick one of these options:
  • ✅ A full refund for your products and the shipping cost you paid
  • ✅ We’ll reship your order for free—just as long as we have the items in stock
Important Stuff: To get this help, you need to contact us within the timeframes we mentioned in Section 6. We also need to finish checking with the delivery company, which takes 5–10 business days. We can only give refunds or reship once we’re sure the package is lost—not just because it’s late.
We know how annoying it is when your order doesn’t show up. That’s why we promise: if it’s not your fault, we’ll fix it.
